Nothing ever goes the way we fucking planned it
Every once and a while, I accept the fact that The Upsides is the best pop-punk record made in the last 10 years. I bought it based on the sticker on it that said “For Fans Of: New Found Glory, Lifetime, Motion City Soundtrack…”. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I then saw them open for Streetlight Manifesto and put on one of the best sets I’ve ever seen. They’ll always be one of my favorite bands even though every pop-punk nerd girl loves them now. They deserve the fame that they’re getting.
