Nothing ever goes the way we fucking planned it
Every once and a while, I accept the fact that The Upsides is the best pop-punk record made in the last 10 years. I bought it based on the sticker on it that said “For Fans Of: New Found Glory, Lifetime, Motion City Soundtrack…”. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I then saw them open for Streetlight Manifesto and put on one of the best sets I’ve ever seen....

The Ataris are underrated. They are the modern equivalent to The Hooters or The Outfield. It’s all about wistful teenage last nights together and drive-in theaters and sing-a-longs and first dates and night driving. It rules. One day I’d like to see The Ataris tour with Kids Can’t Fly. It’d be so wistful. I don’t think I could take it.
